How it works: Simply place the unit next to an existing DC welder, connect the power lead and electrode cable, turn it on and you're ready to go. Press the button on the electrode handpiece to deliver electrolyte solution to the pad, then gently lower the pad to the workpiece. The process of electropolishing is almost effortless - no need to press hard or scrub, just draw the pad across the surface to be treated until the desired surface finish is achieved (As a guide, a 50mm tube join can be polished to a bright shine in under one minute). All to do then is to wipe away the remaining electrolyte solution with a clean cloth, and the job is complete.
